WHAT'S BEHIND THE COLLECTION
La Vita Campestre
Nestled in the countryside of Tuscia, in the very heart of Italy, immersed in a unique reality that appears to be frozen in time, where there’s no phone reception but fresh local products every day and walks in the fields & woods, there is a village called Gallese. Its picturesque charm and serene atmosphere have been the backdrop of countless treasured memories for my family. It’s a place where we have gathered for reunions, collected olives to produce oil, celebrated birthdays, hosted great parties and still have the time and space to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
My grandfather, the artist Publio Muratore Pellei, hails from this village, and his creative spirit has been an inspiration for me in the creation of my first collection “La Vita Campestre – Gallese”, born from a deeply personal idea of reinterpreting the history of my family in a modern way.

The garments
At its core, the collection embodies the values of spontaneous balance between human and nature, the freedom to express oneself, and the desire to live in harmony with others and the environment. This collection is a celebration of the art of my grandfather, who had left behind a rich legacy of sketches and drawings. I transformed his art into a toile de jouy, embroideries and prints, weaving them into each piece of clothing and creating a fil rouge that runs through the entire collection.
Garments blends with everyday life; elegant, practical, versatile, colourful, and sophisticated, designed for women who live dynamically, but never give up on their classiness and easily need to bike from office to a soirée without changing their outfit.

The mindset
Carefully and personally selected quality fabrics, attention to detail, sustainability, and artisanship are essential roots to the collection.
Sustainability, within l’Orangerie d’Isabella, means beauty of imperfection, vintage scent, upcycling, alternative natural fibres, making sure each piece has a story to tell, one to discover and one to write a new, that it’s not only resistant to the passage of time but may continue to live regardless of it; designed and made to be worn, ruined, fixed and worn again, through generations.
